Description
The herb dried lily of the valley is used to treat heart failure, water retention, and difficulty breathing due to congestive conditions of the heart. It is also used to treat heart failure due to long term cardiovascular problems or as a result of a chronic lung problem like emphysema. The herb should only be used under qualified supervision. It is highly toxic and should not be used to replace medical treatment.

TRADITIONAL USES (INTERNAL)
This is probably the most valuable heart remedy used today. It has an action equivalent to Foxglove (Digitalis) without the toxic effects

PREPARATION METHOD
Infusion: 1-2 teaspoons of the herb placed in 1 cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink. 1-2 times per day. Do not exceed dosages.
